In any primitive camping area you are required to take out all items that you brought in with you - including your trash - and dumping trash in campsite burn pits is illegal! Glass does not burn, firewood only. Baby diapers thrown throughout bushes or left on beaches do not go away - they are not biodegradable! They have negative impact to wildlife. Bring good trash bags to your campsite!
Most of the water in Western North Dakota is received from Wyoming, Montana and Canada and is sent to South Dakota and also some areas back to Canada. As North Dakotans we need to take the stewardship of our access to these waters and the recreational areas surrounding the waters more seriously.
